| purchase here One of my favorite ways to start the day, is sipping my coffee on the deck, while the morning mist burns off. It is so peaceful....as if I am alone in the world. Sounds are muted and I feel protected. The Cherokee named it Nantahala, which means "land of the mid day sun". Enjoy your day! Carol Schiff www.CarolSchiffStudio.blogger.com |

Big Sky Palette Knife Painting, Small Oil Painting, Daily Painting, 6x8" Oil on panel
I have been working, working, working, on my Etsy site, turning me into a computer operator! Day after day, sitting at the computer for hours at a time.
| Purchase here Finally, I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to get back into the studio! I had so much fun with this piece! It seems like forever, since I had a palette knife in my hand. |
Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it, and thanks for stopping bye today.
Have a great day!

Life is good in North Carolina, Daily Painting, Small Oil Painting, Blue Ridge Highway, 6x8" Oil,
Last fall, we took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a crisp, sunny day and my camera was busy clicking away.
| Purchase a Giclee Print here It's hard to go wrong with a blue and yellow painting.....it just shouts "Cheerful". The background was painted with a brush, but I used a palette knife on the flowers and grasses. That's when it started to be really fun!
I feel like I was able to capture the feel of the day......I hope it made you smile!
